Welcome to La Divinite – a one-stop destination for aspiring and passionate bakers. An initiative by one of the oldest halwais in Delhi - Ghantewala Halwai, we bring to you baking courses that give you access to the best of professional equipment and coaching at a truly affordable fee.
Our goal is make professional baking accessible to everyone, whether they are starting out or just need equipment to hone their skills further. Which is also the reason we let our students practice at our facilities even after their course has ended. All this for a price you love.
Here, you learn everything from making breads, cakes, tarts to ice-creams in under 2 months. In addition to that, you get access to expertise and cooking secrets of one of Delhi’s oldest hawai families – the Ghantewala Halwai.

With a full-fledged kitchen, state-of-the-art infrastructure, the latest equipment, and a team of professional chefs, La Divinite gives you access to everything you would expect at a professional culinary school. Everything you need to learn, under one roof.

There’s no right or wrong age to start learning culinary skills. Which is why we are open to everyone from the age of 18 to 75, with any level or no level of experience. Come, bake, learn, and practice.
We’ll be there for you,
even after the course ends.
La Divinite’s doors are open for all ex-students. Once you become our students, you have access to our kitchen, equipment, as well as a professional chef for guidance – free of cost. You can practise with us and sharpen your skills, during as well as after completion of the course.
The only
mithai-making programme
Learn from the Ghantewala family itself, how to make the most delicious Indian mithais and sweets in our bonus or special classes. Get access to secret family recipes, techniques and much more in this course.
COURSES
La Divinite offers three levels of courses that cover different lessons and expertise levels. Additionally, we offer courses for individual skills such as special classes for bread making, cake decoration etc. Pick the one that’s right for you!
The courses are of a minimum 20-day duration where after each week, students appear for practical tests. Instead of having just one exam at the end of the course, we ensure that students are on track with their lessons with regular weekly exams.
Beginner
If you’re just starting out with baking, this one’s for you. Learn things from scratch. Here, we familiarise you with the tools, techniques, and fundamentals. After finishing this course, you can move on to the next level.
Intermediate
This one’s for those who hold some previous knowledge and experience with baking and equipment. Here, we get into the depths of baking breads and cakes, as well as making chocolates.
Advance
Level up to professional standards of not just baking but also presenting your baked beauties! In this course, we teach students how to take their cooking forward by the right presentation, plating, taste, and appearance.
